Phonerage.org was set up in response to bad customer service, irritating telephone voice menu systems and junk phone calls. All of these things can drive us to PHONE RAGE!

Share your experiences of companies which have call centres, good or bad, and help other phonerage.org users make the right choices. You can also report on Junk Callers - who they are, and how to deal with them.

Large organisations which deal with retail customers usually centralise their service offerings using Call Centres. The number of staff they dedicate and the amount they spend on call centres has a direct effect on the amount of time, YOU, the customer have to wait for service, and on the quality of service you get.  This is usually unrelated to the speed and quality of service you get when you buy something, since the sales staff are usually in a different call centre or are not in a call-centre at all. Usually, you don't find out how good, or bad, a particular organisation is at dealing with after-sales queries until long after you have paid for your goods or services.

This website attempts to redress the balance by giving reports on different companies' Call Centres and Phone Menus (and also allows the companies to monitor what their customers think of them and comment back).
